Why have I suddenly decided to create a blogspot?
Boredom? Distraction from revision? Change from Tumblr maybe.
Somewhere I can keep a collective of the things I enjoy, create, like and admire maybe.
I'm over tumblr, too generic, everyone blogs the same things because thats all anyone is posting!
Anyway.
I'm Alix, im twenty, I really don't feel it though, my theory is because i still live at home, i have made the next step yet. I really do still feel, and probably act like a child (not in the silly childish way you are probably thinking) I'm far from immature in that sense, i mean i'm not very worldly? We'll leave that one there, until i have the right words to express what I mean.
I'm in my second year of Uni, I study Computer Animation & Visualisation,
so you should be seeing a lot of my work on here, and relentless links to my portfolio, say hello to George.
What does this course entail?
3D modelling & Animating - we use Autodesk 3Dsmax
Flash animation for a multimedia module
A lot of programming considering, c# and SQL etc, we have a database module and a programming one too! I suppose though, im not too limited in what I can do when I leave.

Currently searching high and low for a suitable placement for my placement year, which so happens to be be next year, i have about 3 months to find one, i've been applying to companies since September - those old folk weren't lying when they said its hard to find a job these days!
I think thats all for now really, you dont need to know about my social life, and im sure you will get the jist of my interests over the next few posts.
In a nutshell? oh, alright then.
- Music related posts
- Fashion, usually things I want to buy/have bought
- Make up i'll never wear but buy
- Harry Potter, I have, an unhealthy obsession.
- My dogs, I have three, one is a puppy, all i do is take pictures of them!
- 3D models other people have made, i get jealous.
- Films etc
Nothing special of course, the same as every other blog probably!
